
The German Wochenschau, Week 7
Well, as you know we promised to publish the German Wochenschau each and every Monday. But because of the famous german Karneval none of our editors were capable of writing a single word - not even in German.
If you guys out there ever plan to conquer good old Germany choose the Karneval season. Nobody would notice up to this coming Wednesday.
So, here are the news of the past week, Feb., 11th-17th.
On Monday 13th, police forces arrested a 29 yo man from Berlin in the red-light district of Duisburg. The man is alleged to have relations to the Hell's Angels and is accused of manslaughter in the state of Brandenburg.
Also on Monday a court in Heidelberg sentenced four alleged Hell's Angels to several years in prison. They have been found guilty of hostage-taking and aggravated assault while trying to get the haul from a burglar.
On the same day a woman was attacked by two men for wearing the wrong jacket in the wrong area in the city of Bad Neustadt.
On Friday 17th the birthday party of two members of the Bandidos MC caused a lot of trouble in Bochum. Hundreds of guests were controlled by the police, a road and even a bus stop was temporarily blocked. Police didn't find any evidence, the party took place without any problems.
