Bikie charged with drug offences
Officers from the Gang Squad’s have charged an alleged associate of the Bandidos bikie gang with drug offences. The officers were patrolling the Granville area early on Wednesday morning as part of Strike Force Felix when they stopped a Mercedes on Parramatta Road.
After speaking with the driver, officers searched him and the car, allegedly finding an expired driver’s licence, about 80 tablets believed to be ecstasy (MDMA), 13 Xanax tablets, three mobile phones and other items.
He was placed under arrest and taken to Parramatta Police Station.
The 34-year-old man, alleged to be an associate of the Bandidos, was charged with being an unlicensed driver, possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug and possess restricted substance.
