Guilty verdict in bar slaying
A Merced County Superior Court jury last Thursday convicted the lone remaining defendant in the 2009 barroom murder of Bill James. After about two days of deliberation, the jury convicted 23-year-old Ruben Silva Jr. of Los Angeles of second-degree murder and participating in a criminal street gang in the murder of James.

Rebels bikie gang makes move into New Zealand
MEMBERS of a motorcycle gang with links to a notorious Australian gang are thought to be holding a gathering in Christchurch this weekend. The Rebels Motorcycle Club has been trying to gain a foothold in New Zealand since the start of this year and police, who have been trying to stop them, believe up to 100 of them may be headed for Canterbury.

A CLUBHOUSE owned by the Nomads bikie gang has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack. The building on Chinchen Street, in Newcastle, burned down about 2.20am (AEDT) today.

Closing arguments made in Gustine bar slaying case
Jury deliberations have begun in the trial of the last defendant accused in the Gustine bar stabbing death of Bill James. Ruben Silva Jr., 23, of Los Angeles is charged with murder and participating in a criminal street gang in the Nov. 6, 2009, slaying of James at the Gustine Club.

Bikie charged with drug offences
Officers from the Gang Squad’s have charged an alleged associate of the Bandidos bikie gang with drug offences. The officers were patrolling the Granville area early on Wednesday morning as part of Strike Force Felix when they stopped a Mercedes on Parramatta Road.

Bandidos associate charged over drug traffic stop
Police have charged an alleged associate of the Bandidos bikie gang with drug dealing after a traffic stop in Sydney's west. The 34-year-old was stopped in his Mercedes-Benz by officers from the gang squad early this morning on Parramatta Road at Granville.

Police have arrested three men in Sydney's west who they say are part of a drug ring with links to bikie gangs. Gang squad detectives simultaneously raided properties at Auburn, Regents Park, Birrong and Old Guildford at 6am (AEDT).

Hells Angels targeted in local drug raids
Seven people were arrested in Cambridge on Friday following a police investigation that netted more than $5 million in narcotics. According to a press release issued by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the operation was “targeting members and associates of (an) outlaw motorcycle gang, specifically the Hells Angels Kitchener, Ontario chapter”.

Hells Angels member laid to rest in San Jose
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- There was heavy security at the funeral service for a Hells Angel biker on Saturday. A fellow biker shot the man to death while the motorcycle club was laying to rest another member.
